HI Lumpia FL is a DBPR Licensed Pop-Up Street Food Vendor. Founded by Dawn Bautisa and established in 2023 with business partner, Hiro Saito. HI Lumpia FLis based in Lakeland, FL and operates in the Catapult Shared Kitchen. We offer a variety of Lumpia flavors, sweet or savory fillings inspired by our multi-cultural backgrounds. You can find our freshly fried Lumpia at various Pop-Up locations in Lakeland, Tampa, Davenport & surrounding areas or pre-order our frozen Lumpia so you can have our "Crunchy Munchies" any time of day.

Our mission is to elevate lumpia to a mainstream food and to make it a staple in concession stands, households, restaurants, grocers and everywhere. We strive to put lumpia on the map and make it a beloved and iconic food for generations to come.

I was born and raised in Hawai'i to a Filipino immigrant father and a mother who is half Japanese Chinese. As a child, I watched my Filipino aunties make Lumpia for celebrations and family gatherings and learned how to make it myself. Growing up in a melting pot of cultures and ethnicities, I was exposed to different types of food. To pay tribute to my father, mother, diverse family and friends, I created HI Lumpia FL, which I can now share with everyone!
My love for eating eventually sparked my passion for cooking at a young age. It all began when I was just 11 years old, helping my mother out at her fast food restaurant in Akita, Japan. The thrill of witnessing people's delight as they savored delicious food captivated me. I eagerly observed the chefs at work, hoping to replicate their recipes back home. Fast forward 23 years, I relocated from Japan to Florida, and my authentic Japanese dishes have become a hit with everyone. Now, at Hi Lumpia FL, we proudly feature Japanese Lumpia (Harumaki) on our menu. I aim to introduce Americans to a variety of popular Japanese street foods beyond the typical Sushi and Tempura options.
